City Council Begins Search for New City Manager

On Tuesday, September 25, the City Council did not approve the contract to appoint Deputy City Manager Morgan Smith as the City Manager. The City Council will now begin the process of hiring first an Interim City Manager and then a new City Manager.

The City Manager’s position became vacant this month when former City Manager Doug Schulze - who served for six years - submitted his resignation after accepting a City Manager position with another city.
