Emergency Flotilla Recruitment

Hello Boaters,
If you have a boat, we'd love to have you on the Emergency Flotilla roster. In the event of the City needing on-water support, we could contact you and match your boat to the tasks at hand. For example, after an earthquake and while the ferry landing and bridge is being inspected, we may call on you to help transport essential staff and from the island as part of our incident management plan. The flotilla is totally volunteer and all boat sizes are welcome. We are happy to have boats that are moored wet and dry. To sign up, copy the table below and paste it into an email with your information for each of your boats, then send it to me, the harbormaster. My goal is to have 100 vessels on the roster in 2012. Your information will live in our Emergency Prepardness Plan and will only be accessed by our incident response staff. Also, if you have a deep water dock that could be used in an emergency, give me a call and we will get you on the map. Thank you!!
